The Diski side have lost another game in the Multichoice Diski Challange after failing to build on an early advantage and clinching three important away points after playing Cape Town City.
The game started positively and some great ball play saw Fikizolo open the scoring in the 19th minute and give us the lead. It was a well fought half and both teams played some enterprising soccer but we had a goal advantage going into the second half.
Seven minutes into the second stanza, Magubane scores for us off a fantastic assist from Fikizolo but Cape Town City responded quickly and pulled one back as Sim found the back of the net. The tempo of the game increased and both sides worked hard to get into the opponents box to create scoring chances.
Cape town City then equalised off the boot of Akosa-Bempa. The frustrations from both teams was becoming evident, and Ndiki received a red card for taking Fikizolo out as he attacked the goals.
The team could not take advantage of this and shortly afterwards we were also reduced to 10 men as Zitha got his marching orders. The damage was done though as Aghulas had scored for the home side already to give them a 3-2 win.
