We continued with our good home form and claimed three points from this afternoons DSTv Premiership clash against Chippa United at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

It was a tough game though, and one that could have gone either way against a very determined Chippa United.

From the first whistle it was fast paced, with few periods of play where either team holding back

Chippa were unluckly to not have opened the scoring in the first half after playing behind the defence and then putting their effort wide of target.

We had a number of chances in the first half as well, but none on target enough to rattle the Chippa keeper.

After the break, both teams continued with their determination. We were able to push up a number of times and keep the visitors under pressure in the final third.

This paid off for us in the 73rd minute after Mtshali tapped the ball in after a scramble in the box.

The visitors kept pushing until the final minute to try and equalise but were unable to do so.

We will prepare this week for our game against TTM at home next Saturday 16 January.
